Just thought we would let you know that we received a birth annoucement yesterday from Trent (I’m sure you remember him) and his wife Beth. They had an adorable baby boy April 24.

It is official. I am now a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. I got the results via email yesterday. I should be receiving my certificate within the next week. I will scan and try to post so that you can see it when I get it (that should be fun to learn how to do).

Six Sigma

I took my Six Sigma Green Belt certification class this week. I don’t know yet whether I passed the exam (should know by the end of the weekend or early next week) but I felt like I did real well. I will update when I know if I passed and am officially a certifited Six Sigma Green Belt.

Happy Mother’s Day

Me and Lawrence just want to wish his mom a Happy Mother’s Day. We can’t be with her today but we are thinking of her today.

I am also thinking of my mom today. She hasn’t been with us in a very long time but I still think about her often and miss her every day. I love you and miss you mama.

Friday Night Mahjong

We had our weekly Friday night Mahjong match with our friends Dave and Lorraine. Tonight was a first for us, we had a three way tie for first place. This has never happened before. I’m guessing the odds of this happening often are pretty slim. The worst part is that I wasn’t able to repeat.

Employee of the month

Well, we had our employee of the month meeting here today at good ‘ol Atlanta Office Machines and yours truly was named employee of the month. It’s nice to be recognized for all the work I do. I got a nice little award to sit on my desk and sure that was nice (I was happy they spelled my name right) but the American Express gift card was really the best thing.

So thanks to whoever nominated me, I really appreciate it.
